Do you need a separate bender for each size of conduit?

No.  Unlike other benders, the Ericksen Bender bends 1/2", 3/4" and 1" EMT with one tool.

Does the Ericksen Bender require more force to bend the conduit?

No.  Due to the increased radius, significantly less force is required to bend all sizes of conduit. 

Does the Ericksen Bender crimp and distort conduit the way standard benders do?

No.  The Ericksen Bender bends conduit with very little distortion and no crimping or dimpling.

Does the Ericksen Bender make it easier to push a fish tape?

Yes.  A larger radius allows a fish tape to easily be pushed through the maximum number of bends.

Does the Ericksen Bender make it easier to push or pull wire?

Yes. Test results show that substantially less force is required when pulling through conduit bent with the Ericksen Bender.  Additionally, one person can push three #12 solids through 80' of ½" EMT with two nineties at each end in four minutes. See the test and results HERE.

Does wire lube need to be used to achieve the benifits of the Ericksen Bender?

No.  In fact, the need for wire lube is eliminated.

Does it take more time to use the Ericksen Bender?

Absolutely not! The Ericksen Bender cuts the layout time of conduit runs.
